We have just installed a new Heidelberg SM 52 full colour Press for Shanowen Files
The Santry headquartered company took delivery of the press from Portman Graphic in the first week in February and a Makoplatesetter, together with a Heights plate processor from Irish Print Support in late January 2016.
Shanowen Files employs 35 staff and is based in Santry, Dublin 9. It produces healthcare printed forms, medical folders, tabbed dividers, bespoke manilla folders and other commercial print products.
The press, which was installed last month, is in addition to the firms existing plant list and compliments its existing two B1 Heidelberg SORDs.
The business also operates a single colour GTO, a two-colour B3 Heidelberg GTO 52 and a Konica Minolta SRA3 four-colour digital printer. Shanowen Files also offers finishing services including folding, die-cutting, creasing and tab cutting.

Portman sourced the machine Europe, travelled to carry out inspection and print testing to ensure quality, the machine was installed in February and the guys in Shanowen have hit the ground running with it”.
